With a staff of approximately 60 employees, this position oversees multiple work units and programs including field operations, capital improvements, code compliance, and more recently Helene recovery efforts all related to the construction and maintenance of the City's streets (410 miles), sidewalks (188 miles), and rights-of-way. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the division, encompassing construction, maintenance, and repair of roadways and sidewalks, tree and rights-of-way maintenance, downtown cleanliness, graffiti removal, bridge inspection and maintenance, and storm response.
