Valid driver's license Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of experience in process control and automation Familiar with reading and creating CAD drawings using AutoCAD Electrical Strong working knowledge with Allen Bradley PLCs and RSLogix 5000,500 Working experience and knowledge with HMI / OIT Development using Rockwell and/or Wonderware software platforms Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments Proactive, resourceful and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment Ability to balance multiple projects Working knowledge of MS Office productivity software Good understanding of mechanical principals is a plus Preferred if candidate has 80-hour underground certification within the first 6 months of employment Travel as required (25-50% at times) to support projects. As an Industrial Controls Engineer, the general role is to provide turn-key automated solutions specializing in PLC Programming, Human Machine Interface (HMI) Development, Software installations, with minimal electrical work.
