You will play an active role in the Service Lane by providing excellent service and suggestions to keep the customer's vehicle in top shape. The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is affiliated with over 25 brands of new vehicles and 50+ dealerships throughout seven states.
The Porter is responsible for keeping the service drive lane clean, as well as for providing shuttle rides as needed, picking up and dropping off customers' cars to their homes as needed, and completing a daily checklist with the other porters of all cleaning duties around the Service Shop. The porter will then provide the customer direction to the Service Advisors and prepare the customer's car for service by installing a window tag, a matching key tag, covering the seat, and installing a floor mat.
Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
