Here's what you'll do:Planning, design, and construction of civil & transportation projects focused on Aviation developmentPerform and lead design tasks or projects, including the supervising and directing of junior staffTypical projects require preparation of bidding documents (plans & specifications), including horizontal and vertical layout, site development, grading, drainage, pavement design, marking, signage, erosion control, coordination with other disciplines, water & sanitary utilities, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and construction schedulingSupport the client manager in providing service to and developing relationships with existing aviation clientsPerform project management and coordination of multi-disciplined tasks necessary to implement projects for clients in our aviation groupPerform, assist, or oversee construction-related tasks, including on-site construction observation and project engineeringAssist in business development activities, including prospective client outreach, submittal preparation, and community engagementHere is what you'll need:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field.5 years' experience with an emphasis in Aviation transportation. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutionsDemonstrated responsiveness, professionalism, and teamworkIdeally, you will also have:Experience in business development and staff supervisionWillingness to travel as neededValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordPhysical Requirements:Physical demands vary depending on the specific nature of assigned projects.
