Demonstrates skills in the following area including but not limited to: basic wound care skills, knowledge of advance wound care treatment modalities, lower extremity compression therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, ankle-brachial index screening; peripheral vascular screening, knowledge of indications for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, knowledge of use and application of total contact cast, knowledge and skill in ostomy care, knowledge and treatment of diabetic, arterial, venous, and pressure ulcers including post-operative and traumatic wounds. We are expanding access to care across our communities through two acute-care hospitals, including a Level II Trauma Center and a Level III NICU maternity unit, along with a cancer center, urgent care locations, and a growing network of primary and specialty care clinics.
