Proof of completion of the minimum training required either by certificate or validation of training by physician or qualified individual acting under the direction of a physician within 3-months of hire, per Title 16, to include medication administration by intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections, skin tests, and venipuncture or skin puncture for the purpose of withdrawing blood required. Experience performing phlebotomy techniques including special procedures such as injections, blood cultures, skin tests, skin punctures, finger sticks, and heel sticks preferred.
