Front Office Responsibilities: • Serve as the first and last point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience • Greet and register patients accurately and efficiently • Verify insurance coverage, collect copayments, and explain financial responsibilities • Schedule patients across multiple visit modalities • Introduce and support patients with digital tools such as the Carbon app • Manage phone calls, triage inquiries appropriately, and coordinate communication with providers • Prepare referrals, process lab paperwork, and support administrative workflows • Respond calmly and effectively during high-volume or emergency situations (e.g., calling 911, coordinating EMS arrival). High school diploma or equivalent Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program (where required by law) Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Willingness to obtain DOT certification 1+ year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred 1+ year experience in a medical receptionist or fast-paced healthcare setting preferred Strong understanding of medical insurance processes (deductibles, copays, coverage) preferred Phlebotomy experience preferred Ability to type 30+ WPM and comfort using Google Suite and EMR systems Exceptional multitasking, time management, and critical thinking skills Calm and focused under pressure Professional, empathetic, and team-oriented.
