Overview: Responsible for front and back office procedures to include scheduling appointments, checking-in and out dermatology patients, assisting physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APP) with patient care to include triage, charting, procedures, ordering and stocking of dermatology supplies. Responsibilities: Triage all incoming patients by taking vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, reconciling medications, reconciling allergies, updating pharmacy, and all other pertinent Meaningful Use objectives (smoking status, race, ethnicity, language), and accurately recording in electronic health record.
