Responsibilities: • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner with a sense of urgency • Participates in the recruitment, selection, and training of staff • Supervise food and beverage staff • Ensure customer satisfaction, uphold and maintain high-quality customer service and hospitality • Maintain inventory control and costs • Oversee food service and act as an expeditor when necessary to ensure the timely movement of completed food orders from kitchen to customer table • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve customer complaints in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner according to departmental guidelines • Ensure departmental policies and procedures are implemented and followed, and schedules and checklists are completed according to requirements • Keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take prompt corrective action • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere • Resolve internal conflict amongst staff • Ensuring back of house area and outlet are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations. Requirements: • Completion of a food service administration, hotel, or restaurant management course is an asset • Excellent sales, customer service, and communication skills • Solid leadership and organizational skills • Proven human resource management skills, such as training and motivation • Knowledge of the products, services, sector, industry, and local area • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
