Responsibilities include but are not limited to carrying out the daily operations of the program, model professionalism and provide leadership and support to the support staff, providing care to participant(s), monitoring and ensuring safety of participant(s) out in the community, integrating into group social settings, assisting with community engagement and participation, promoting developmentally appropriate activities, positive behaviors, and encouraging peer interactions among program participant(s). -Preference may be given to individuals with experience, training, and/or credits in high school/college level therapeutic recreation, recreation and leisure studies, social sciences, education, health care and/or human services.
