Reporting to the Sustainability Senior Manager and drawing on best practices in the field, the Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for developing sustainability programming across the university; coordinating outreach and capacity-building activities with students, faculty, and staff; supporting new sustainability initiatives on campus; and assisting with the completion of institution-wide sustainability reporting. Provides administration, project support, and student worker management for sustainability initiatives on campus, including data management and operations of the following: the Temple Community Garden and farm stand, Bike Temple, Temple Thrift, Give + Go Green, strategic specialty recycling programs, Weigh the Waste, and zero waste events.
