Minimum three (3) years of recent occupational experience within the last ten (10) years in one or more of the following required: Medical Assisting, Clinical Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Revenue Cycle Management, Healthcare Reimbursement, Health Information Management, Physician Practice Administration, and Ambulatory Healthcare Services. Teach courses including: Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Clinical Procedures, Pharmacology, Medical Law and Ethics, Insurance and Reimbursement, Electronic Health Records (EHR), CPT Coding, ICD-10-CM Coding, HCPCS Coding, Medical Office Procedures, Revenue Cycle Management, and HIPAA Compliance.
