p>Knowledge/Skills and Abilities Candidates must be able to: • Design and develop biochemical and cell-based assays for various drug targets • Perform high-throughput screening and structure-based drug design • Study the mechanism of action and mechanism of resistance of antivirals • Creatively develop, execute, and publish research relevant to the project • Participate fully as a lab team member • Assist graduate and undergraduate students in research activities • Assist in preparation of grants, manuscripts, and conference presentations.
