PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, or related field; or Master’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, or related field plus 4 years of experience in lieu of a PhD; or Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, mathematics, or related field plus 6 years of experience in lieu of PhD. Working independently or in a team setting, the Principal Bioinformatics Scientist will be involved in Research and Development projects serving as a thought leader and subject matter expert by providing guidance in exploring, researching, and testing new technologies or guiding the technical aspects of the molecular diagnostics product development from concept to completion.
