Requires 2 years of experience in all of the following: Service and maintenance of medical linear accelerators; Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining linear accelerators; Radiation therapy equipment (e.g., CT simulators, treatment planning systems); Linear accelerator systems, including hardware and software components; Diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques for complex medical devices; Software diagnostics and updates; Electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, testing equipment used for verification/checkout, and calibration of electronic equipment; Technical documentation, including service manuals, schematics, and machine generated event logs; Electronic circuits, including schematics, component functionality, signal tracing and troubleshooting techniques; and Specialized training certification on at least one linear accelerator brands/models (e.g., Varian, Elekta, Siemens). Employer will also accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a closely related scientific field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related role in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry.
