Employees may interact with individuals experiencing psychiatric, behavioral health, substance use, or crisis-related situations and may encounter exposure to viruses, diseases, infections, and emotionally sensitive or traumatic situations during the course of providing services. The Nurse Practitioner provides medical and/or psychiatric evaluation, assessment, medication management, care coordination, and ongoing treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment services.
