Special processes include but are not limited to manual GTAW, laser fusion welding, laser powder welding, thermal spray coatings (APS, LPPS), overlay coatings (EBPVD), diffusion coatings (VPA, pack cementation), electroplating (precious metal plating), machining, laser processes, EDM, heat treatment, braze, chemical cleaning, acid stripping and automation. The Engineer will be responsible for supporting ongoing production needs, developing new processes, improving existing processes associated with coating and welding technologies and will report regularly on project updates, lead, or participate in customer meetings, and regularly communicate with various internal departments.
