The main responsibilities of the role: The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day commercial painting operations in multiple city markets, maintaining a safety first culture, recruiting and hiring field personnel, training and mentorship of project managers, field managers, and foremen, meeting with general contractors, verifying change order logs and job cost sheets, conducting field manager and foremen meetings, conducting frequent job walks, and working with the team to implement the vision and execution of the VTO. The department scorecard measurables include 38% gross margins in all new markets in the first full year, zero recordables, zero general liability claims, mentorship program in place and 100% buy in, proper manpower count, and sub to employee ratio under maintained.
