Minimum QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Public Administration, Public Relations, Journalism, or a closely related field; andFour (4) years of professional communications or public administration experience, preferably in a public-sector or local government environment;ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience. Serving as a primary communications resource for the Board of County Commissioners, elected officials, department leaders, media, employees, community partners, and the public, this position promotes transparency, enhances public education, protects the County's brand, and establishes consistent communication practices across departments.
