Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Technician performs delegated functions as a member of a patient care team to provide a variety of services such as activities of daily living, vital signs, EKGs, and glucose checks. Working in this supportive environment allows a Patient Care Technician to join a multidisciplinary team, widen their skill set, and develop competencies required to care for a diverse patient population.
