With the Base Operations Manager, communicates and performs complex coordination, inside and outside the training center, with National Guard Bureau (NGB) personnel, the commands of other MACOMs, other DoD agencies, heads of federal agencies and states on matters pertaining to funds usage, supply, and training support activities at the training center. This position is authorized to make technical and executive decisions for the Base Operations Manager in all areas of functional responsibility; represents the group and the commander at meetings, conferences, official functions, and community events, and when acting as the senior group official in the absence of the commander, possesses the same authority and prerogatives as the commander.
