A Unit Charge Nurse Supports service excellence strategies by ensuring completion of hourly rounding, consistent use of AIDET, and other skills and expectations as defined by the department leader; evidenced by consistent and thorough documentation, and managing up organizational goals and initiatives to peers, patients, visitors, physicians, and community members. Engages in organizational initiatives and department operations by attending 50% department meetings, at least 1 Employee Forum annually, at least 1 Mission for Staff session annually, at least 1 volunteer experience annually, and other assigned in-services and meetings according to direction of nursing supervisor.
