A Hospice Aide, with additional training and proven performance, may assist with other certain procedures per plan of care such as: applying certain prescription creams and ointments, assisting with care of colostomy and appliances, or assisting with use of special devices such as a Hoyer Lift. Assists in meeting the nutritional needs and dietary requirements of the patient by performing the following per plan of care: meal preparation, offering fluids and nutrition, assisting with feedings.
