To excel as an Assistant Dive Safety Officer at Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, MO, you should have at least 2 years in a full-time aquarium related Dive Operations position, hold at least an Open Water Instructor SCUBA certification from a nationally recognized training agency, current CPR/1st Aid, AED, and O2 Administration certifications from a nationally recognized training agency or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment, be able to become a SeaTREK Training Coordinator within 90 days of hire, be able to pass a diving specific health physical within 90 days of hire, be able to pass a Swim Test within 90 days of hire, be able to pass a Check-Out Dive within 90 days of hire, be able to comfortably lift 80 lbs, have no history of allergies related to animals, plants, and/or materials which may interfere with ability to work.
