Licensure / Certification: Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) strongly preferred via one of the following licensing groups: APC, CASC, NACC, and NAJC, which includes completion of a master's degree as required by one of the certifying agencies from a Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) academic institution with completion of 4 units (1600 hours) of ACPE accredited Spiritual Care education, and faith-based endorsement as recognized by one of the certifying agencies. Mount Carmel serves over 1.3 million patients each year at our five hospitals, free-standing emergency centers, outpatient facilities, surgery centers, urgent care centers, primary care and specialty care physician offices, community outreach sites and homes across the region.
