Operating within an intimate 18-bed acute inpatient psychiatric care unit at Wisconsin’s premier Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital, this position features a steady 36-hour schedule across evening and night shifts (combinations of 19:00 PM – 07:30 AM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 15:00 – 23:30, or 23:00 – 07:30, 36 hours guaranteed weekly). Clinical Scope & Specialty Care: Acute crisis stabilization: Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar mania/depression, severe major depressive disorder, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and co-occurring substance use/withdrawal.
