Unlike a Head Chef assigned to a single location, the Floating Head Chef will travel between multiple centers as needed to provide kitchen coverage, assist with meal preparation, support special events and holiday celebrations, and ensure continuity of food service operations during staffing shortages or absences. FGC operates sixteen (15) Older Adult Centers across seven Brooklyn community districts, as well as one early childhood education center, Young Minds UPK-4.
