He/she is responsible to ensure that a comprehensive set of controls exist that are designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Responsibilities:Reporting to, and in ongoing communication and collaboration with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Chief Financial Officer will have the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Manages the finance function and oversees the finance team in the completion of day to day financial activities</li><li>Develops documented procedures to ensure that accounts payable are paid timely, accounts receivable are collected promptly, services are billed accurately and timely and client accounts are handled in accordance with the Company's approved procedures</li><li>Ensures that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained</li><li>Coordinates and prepares the annual budgets, forecasts, and variances for discussion with the program managers and COO</li><li>Ensures compliance with federal and state billing requirements for services provided</li><li>Ensures compliance with Social Security guidelines for management of client funds as Representative Payee</li><li>Performs cash management duties to ensure obligations are met and continued growth of reserve funds</li><li>Facilitate the competitive bidding process for purchases of goods or services as needed</li><li>Negotiate contracts for lawn care, pest control, audit and other services as needed</li><li>Coordinates and provides information for all audits, both fiscal and programmatic</li><li>Manages the day to day property and casualty insurance needs of the Company</li><li>Prepares annual ICF/IID cost reports</li><li>Complies with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings</li><li>Conducts annual evaluations with all direct reports and provides ongoing training, guidance and feedback throughout the year to ensure optimal performance of each direct report</li><li>Ensures efficient, effective, and ethical operation of the finance functions</li><li>Ensures timely production of monthly internal financial reports for management</li><li>Analyzes operating results of Home of Hope and its subsidiaries versus approved budgets and objectives</li><li>Prepares monthly consolidated financial statements and related information for the Board of Directors</li><li>Presentation of financial information to Hope Housing and Rogers County Training Center Boards of Directors</li><li>Presentation of consolidated financial reports to the Home of Hope Board of Directors in the absence of the COO</li><li>Conducts other duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned by the COO</li></ul>Every employee at Home of Hope represents the organization's values internally and to the public. Job Description & Requirements Chief of Hematologic Malignancy, Transplant and Cellular Therapy at OU Health StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $498000.00 - $639000.00 OU Health, the Stephenson Cancer Center, and the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), Department of Medicine seek a nationally recognized clinician-scientist to provide strategic leadership for the clinical, educational, outreach, and research programs within Hematologic Malignancies as well as the Transplant and Cellular Therapies Program. Serving as the Section Chief, Hematologic Malignancy, Transplant and Cellular Therapy, the incoming leader will oversee a team of eight faculty members and will have immediate opportunity to hire additional faculty into the growing program. The incoming Chief will join during a time of rapid growth and will have a unique opportunity to guide the program through a major statewide expansion. This position will be supported by an endowed chair and additional resources. Additional leadership opportunities may exist for qualified applicants. Stephenson Cancer Center is Oklahoma's only NCI-Designated Cancer Center and offers the state’s only CAR-T therapy and comprehensive stem cell transplant program accredited by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). Stephenson’s cellular therapy specialists performed 170 cellular therapy and stem cell transplants last year, with more than 2,100 completed transplants since the program began in 1982.  Stephenson Cancer Center is a lead accruing institution in the Lead Academic Participating Sites (LAPS) sponsored by the NCI. Their 130 member investigators are currently working on more than 400 cancer research projects, supported by $65 million of annual research funding from the National Institutes of Health, American Cancer Society, and others.
