APP will be responsible for first assisting in all CVOR cases (including CABG, valve repair and replacements, aortic surgery, LVAD, heart transplantation, impella, ECMO, thoracic procedures, EVH/ERAH, chest closure), inpatient rounding in the ICU and floors, consult clinic duties, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary team. HCA Florida Largo Hospital is a 455-bed facility designated as a Statutory Teaching Hospital by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and is affiliated and proudly partners with such institutions as Nova Southeastern University's College of Osteopathic Medicine and University of South Florida's Morsani College of Medicine.
