Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** + Leading civil engineering design efforts for airport development projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, terminals, and related facilities + Providing technical leadership and serving as a subject matter expert within the aviation civil engineering group + Planning and overseeing design activities, including airfield layout, site grading, drainage, pavement design, and stormwater management + Preparing and reviewing construction documents, including plans, specifications (FAA AC 150/5370-10), schedules, design reports, and cost estimates + Coordinating utility design, environmental permitting, and regulatory compliance + Using Civil 3D and other design tools to develop and review engineering plans and calculations + Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, clients, utilities, and regulatory agencies + Serving as task leader, providing oversight, mentorship, and guidance to engineers, designers, and CAD staff + Resolving complex technical challenges and making independent engineering decisions + Supporting construction activities, including shop drawing reviews, responding to contractor inquiries, and performing inspections **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering degree and 8 years of related civil experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. + Advanced Experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D design software + Experience in performing construction administration and inspection + Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office Software + Ability to work in both office and field (construction) environments **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position + Relocation is not available for this position At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
