Overview: The Network Engineer is responsible for end‑to‑end monitoring, observability, network performance management, logging, alerting, synthetic testing, and operational reliability of VA product environments for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Product Delivery Services (PDS), Benefits and Memorials (BAM), Memorial and Benefit Services (MBS) deliver secure, reliable, and effective Information Technology (IT) solutions that support the Department’s mission. Responsibilities: Establish baselines, maintain dashboards, implement proactive alerting, perform incident triage, support SRE practices, and ensure compliance with service level targets across all cloud and on‑prem environments.
