Operates AMI hardware consisting of data transmitters, data collectors, antennas and specialty software; must have the ability to use laptop/tablet/smartphone in field and office environments to analyze, troubleshoot and take corrective actions to restore, repair and eliminate critical two-way communications and data transfers, download GPS coordinates of meter location, create notes for new accounts. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising and participating as a supervisory crew leader in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of all AMI infrastructure; responding to complaints concerning water leaks, low pressure, and high bills; operating and maintaining equipment; supervising assigned staff; and performing additional tasks as assigned.
