This position performs building maintenance by painting, installing carpet, providing plumbing repairs and assisting with electrical repairs and installations; and performs grounds maintenance by cleaning and maintaining parks and restrooms; mowing; weed-eating; trimming trees; fertilizing; operating sprinkler systems; repairing cement and rock work fixtures; constructing and repairing fences, gates, picnic tables, awnings and buildings; completing welding and fabrication as needed on facilities and equipment; and using heavy equipment such as dump trucks, front end loaders, cranes, compressors, jack hammers, boats, and tractors to perform necessary maintenance and repairs.
