ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the teacher in maintaining an organized, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment by assisting with classroom preparation, organizing and distributing instructional materials, maintaining learning spaces and displays, managing classroom resources, and completing organizational tasks that support effective classroom routines and instruction. JOB GOAL: To assist the PreK teacher in providing a nurturing, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the academic, social-emotional, and physical development of young children through effective instruction, positive relationships, classroom support, and collaboration with the school community.
