Compensation: $ 16 per hour plus mileage reimbursement Part time: varying hours Job Duties: Provide active and engaged supports that integrate with a person’s capacities and preferences Teach individuals the skills required to be a self-advocate and properly communicate their preference in how and when they receive supports Actively support individuals with daily living activities including but not limited to personal cleanliness, toileting, personal safety, mobility, daily management skills including but not limited to maintaining proper nutrition, home management, budgeting, medical related activities, appropriate communication, recognizing and dealing with emergencies, exercising their rights, completing tasks assigned to them and developing relationships members of the community as needed. 100% Community Participation Supports are generally responsible for giving direct client care and programming to individuals in community on a 1:1 or 1:2-3 staffing ratio, participating in the development and implementation of the Individual Service Plans, ensuring that each individual participates in social/leisure/recreational activities based on their choices and preferences, providing social, emotional, and environmental supports to ensure the happiness, health, and safety of the participants in order to provide them with skills needed to meet their goals regarding employment.
