The Clinical Dietitian collaborates closely with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care, while also guiding and supporting clinical nutrition personnel, providing instruction to dietetic interns during clinical rotations, and adhering to applicable policies and procedures related to patient care, supplies, and equipment. Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Dietitian II, under general supervision and as a registered dietitian, conducts comprehensive patient assessments, participates in the development of individualized plans of care, and implements and evaluates nutrition interventions for primarily moderately complex patients based on age-specific and developmental needs.
