Patient/case mix includes sepsis, pneumonia, DKA, DTs, multisystem failure, spinal injuries, pre-/post-cath patients (radial approach), general surgery patients, respiratory compromise, CHF, COPD, gunshot wounds, stabbings, motor vehicle accidents, strokes, TBI, and various back surgeries. Floating Requirements: May float within Tacoma General to all ICUs (including Neuro, Trauma, Medical, and Cardiac ICU), CCU (cardiac step-down), PCU/ACC, ED holding, Med-Surg units, and any open surge areas for these units.
