Clinical responsibilities include high-risk cardiology care, cardiac drip management, sheath removal, central line management, post-operative open-heart care, care of post-catheterization patients, chest tube management, noninvasive airway management, oxygen administration, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care, procedural sedation monitoring, and wound care. The role includes management of cardiac drips and care for post-procedural, post-operative, and other high-risk telemetry patients.
