The role provides physician oversight of Utilization Management and Care Management functions, ensuring that clinical decision-making, care coordination, and population health interventions are aligned with organizational priorities and the principles of the Triple Aim: improving member experience, improving population health, and reducing the per-capita cost of care. Working in close partnership with the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations, the Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Performance & Operations establishes the clinical strategy, performance goals, and operational priorities necessary to optimize population health, improve member outcomes, and achieve sustainable financial performance.
