Skills required: IV therapy, port access/management, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IV starts, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator management, HFNC, ABG interpretation, suctioning, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Patients are hemodynamically compromised and require mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, arterial pressure monitoring, cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, central venous catheters, chemotherapy administration, and plasmapheresis.
