This position will assist with the daily care of patients and perform other functions such as bladder scans, time voiding, blood glucose bedside test testing, participation in the bowel program and other functions once competency has been validated. Requirements: Must possess a current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or be currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nurse program and have completed at least one year of the program.

• Monitor residents to ensure their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and ensure that any significant changes are communicated to the next shift staff as well as a document on daily rounds.

  Work environment:

  • RA, HHA, CNA, and MA will be exposed to dust, noise, and odor.

The CNA will assist with daily patient care, hygiene support, basic clinical tasks, and harm reduction services in non-traditional settings, including drop-in spaces, outdoor park-lets, and outreach sites.
