Read/interpret drawings/part specifications and verify/adjust speeds and feeds for optimum machining; • Make necessary offset changes to be within allowable tolerances; • Change inserts; • Verify conformance of part to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as, scales, calipers, micrometers and fixed gauges; Fill out inspection reports as required; • Clean machined parts to ensure ready for assembly; • Report all issues in regard to tooling and setup to the supervisor; • Keep a clean, organized and safe workplace; • To be punctual, and act in accordance with company policies and procedures. Minimum 2 years CNC multi-axis machine operator experience preferred; • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision; • Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy; • Must be able to read and use tape measure; • Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices; • Must be quality oriented and a team player; • Must have complete understanding of safe work practices.
