At Gorin Tennis Academy, we’ve had the privilege of working with a number of outstanding tennis athletes who have reached the professional level, including Dmitry Tursunov, Igor Kunitsyn, Irakli Labadze, Jimmy Wang, Sofya Zhuk, and Yaroslava Shvedova (WTA 25 Doubles 3).
These athletes are not the only successes to come from our tennis academy.
Gorin Sports Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate female basketball coach to join our growing basketball program under the leadership of Head Coach Baris.

Responsible for practice preparation, proving instruction and motivation during practice; Administers individual and group workouts; Assists with the development of the strength and conditioning program for student athletes. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Works under the direction of the Head Basketball Coach.
Develops lesson plans and instructional materials for subject area, and translates lesson plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential assignments, challenge students, and best utilize the available time for instruction. The assistant coach is expected to report a violation and/or ejection to the head coach, building athletic director, and director of athletics immediately following the contest where the infraction occurred.
The head coach seeks advance approval from the building athletic director and director of athletics for camp and/or clinic programs involving Federal Way Public Schools players, coaches, and/or facilities.
