Responsibilities:
<div><div>The Records Management Coordinator is responsible to maintain, secure and store all written and electronic records within the nursing center in accordance with federal/state regulations and the Genesis' records management program. In addition, you will perform accurate and current diagnostic coding to ensure appropriate patient care billing.</div><div> </div><div>*Perform accurate diagnostic coding to ensure appropriate patient billing.<br/>*Create medical record for all new patient admissions. <br/>*Perform routine audits of medical records upon patient admission through discharge to monitor compliance with policies regarding documentation, physician visits, timeliness. <br/>*Maintain the electronic diagnosis list.</div></div>

Qualifications:
<div>*High school degree or equivalent is required. <br/>*College degree strongly preferred or commensurate experience is required.</div>
