The incumbent performs technical work primarily requiring a practical knowledge of the techniques and theories characteristics of electronics, the ability to apply that knowledge to duties involved in engineering functions, a knowledge of the capabilities, limitations, operations, design characteristics and function use of a variety of types and models of electronic equipment and systems and a knowledge of developing specifications, scope of work and other associated documents concerning contractor maintenance and preventive maintenance on electronics/electromechanics equipment and systems.
