The employee must be able to perform sustained physical labor; stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, and work in confined or restricted areas; safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment consistent with the essential duties; and wear required personal protective equipment and respiratory protection. Work is performed primarily outdoors and in field conditions and may involve exposure to wastewater, unpleasant odors, noise, dust, traffic, inclement weather, uneven terrain, confined spaces, excavations, hazardous gases, chemicals, moving equipment, and other occupational hazards.
