Participates in planning and administering new program development (e.g., assesses community needs and proposes new programs, identifies possible barriers to programs, assists with budget development of programs, recommends policies and procedures, monitors implementation of projects, evaluates the effectiveness of projects, creates educational materials, trains staff and community) Assesses the health needs of certain populations and communities, analyzes, and evaluates programs and policies, and uses the assessment information to develop plans to carry out the FCPH public health objectives. Duties Include: Oversee assigned Community Health Action Teams (CHATs), including coordinating team activities, supporting and collaborating with co-chairs, engaging community partners and volunteers, facilitating meetings, planning and attending community outreach and events, monitoring progress toward established objectives, and ensuring alignment with Franklin County Public Health's Community Health Improvement Plan, and local jurisdiction strategic priorities.
