Responsibilities: Conduct field inspections and audits of LH Battery associates and contractors on-site Sign safety permits as representative of L-H Safety (Roof access permits, Line Break Permits, hot work permits, etc.) Requires 75-80% time in the field, 20-25% time for meetings and computer work Enters incident reports/observations in Gensuite Software as needed Ensures LH Battery and contractors conduct appropriate safety meetings, JHAs, PTPs, toolbox talks, attends required All-Hands meetings, and Weekly Safety meetings Leads All-Hands Safety meetings Ensures stop work is issued when unsafe conditions are present Ensures proper submission of appropriate paperwork to satisfy Site Safety Plan (SSP) Ensures contractors perform root cause investigations and corrective action implementation promptly as prescribed by the SSP Perform other duties as assigned Skills: Experience with and understanding of OSHA Construction and/or General Industry regulations Strong communication skills. Working knowledge of environmental compliance requirementsAdditional Requirements: This role requires up to 10% of travel (domestic, with potential international) Bilingual is a plus, but not required#LHB **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
