The Weld Engineer will be responsible for developing, qualifying, and maintaining Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs), Welder Performance Qualifications (WPQs), and welding-related quality programs in accordance with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code - Steel, AWS D1.5, ASME Section IX, and project-specific requirements. The ideal candidate combines deep technical welding expertise with hands-on fabrication experience and possesses the ability to work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Project Management teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient fabrication activities throughout the project lifecycle.
