Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Onsite field supervision of all construction activities, overseeing third-party vendors and contractors • Maintain project schedules, proactively managing the project budget by owning approvals, deliveries, controlling expenses, and reviewing submittals • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients to ensure compliance and smooth project execution • Collaborate with internal Project Managers, Design Managers, and Development Managers to ensure all project goals are met • Oversee the construction document coordination phase, reviewing document packages for procurement, and developing detailed scopes of work • Assist in formulating, maintaining, and executing the project schedule, ensuring the timely completion of all phases • Manage the permit process, working closely with expeditors, DOB (Department of Buildings), MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority), and other governmental entities to meet regulatory requirements • Lead jobsite foreman meetings and ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating all field operations for one of our upcoming large-scale, fast-track commercial projects, ensuring commitment to quality and safe construction practices.
